Yarrabilba State Secondary College is a new foundation high school in the rapidly growing Logan community. Delivered as part of the Queensland Government’s Building Future Schools Program, the College will have five new buildings including:

  • 3 storey learning centre
  • 2 storey performing arts centre
  • 2 storey art and design centre
  • 1 storey applied technology building
  • 1 storey science building

Phillips Smith Conwell was brought to the team as part of the documentation stage of the project, working with Broad Constructions and the College stakeholders throughout the design development phase of delivering the project.

As part of this phase, we facilitated workshops with the broader stakeholder group, giving independent guidance on design changes and finishes selections.

As a rapid build project, we were able to use BIM 3D modelling to achieve the goals of the College and Broad Constructions to deliver a complex project effectively and on budget.
