Located within the Gold Coast University Private Hospital, Queensland X-Ray delivers imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients of the hospital.

The fitout is prominently located adjacent to the hospital’s main entry, providing Queensland X-Ray with the ideal opportunity to present their brand to the wider community. The materials palette is simple with finishes and FF&E that are complimentary to the hospital foyer location while maintaining their visual identity.

Internally, the tenancy is large and deep which required considered planning and allocation of spaces to both client reception, treatment rooms and consulting suites. A high level of technical detailing created concealed, shielded radiation rooms that are enhanced by artwork and furnishings for patients. The light and airy spaces throughout the private and public areas create a calming effect to reduce client stress.

The fitout was integrated within the construction program of the new hospital, providing challenges that were resolved with effective planning and maintaining operational flows throughout the build. The result is a facility that provides a seamless level of care in a comfortable and reassuring environment.
