This centre incorporates a new customer based integrated student services interface based on the new management model successfully developed in our Student Centre project at the GU Gold Coast campus. The new centre also incorporates 15 new seminar rooms for use across the campus and is designed to enhance access for people with disabilities along the challenging central pedestrian spine through the heart of the campus.
While not officially a heritage building, the original award-winning Library/Humanities building designed by Robin Gibson & Partners in the mid 1970’s is of architectural significance and the extension to it required sensitivity in handling the interface and connections.
